ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team lost a 6-1 decision to visiting Maryville on Tuesday in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

The Tritons tallied eight hits, including three from senior
Tom DeCero. It was DeCero's fourth game this season with three hits. Redshirt junior
Koltyn Schilly added two hits and a stolen base, while Hilpert stole a pair of bags, moving him to 6-for-6 in that category this year.

Trent Hlafka made his first collegiate start and went three and two-thirds of an inning. He scattered just two hits, walked four and allowed two runs. Senior
Brendan Watts tossed two scoreless innings in relief.
