DETROIT, MICH. – With wins over Southern Indiana and Wayne State (Mich.) on Friday at the Warrior Invitational, the University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team is 6-0 for the first time in program history.
The Tritons swept conference foe Southern Indiana in a non-league game before rallying past the host Warriors in the nightcap.
UMSL 3, SOUTHERN INDIANA 0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-14)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMSL racked up 52 kills and hit .280, while limiting Southern Indiana to 33 kills and a .169 hitting clip.
- The Tritons rallied from an 11-5 deficit in the first set and closed the frame with a 7-1 run.
- UMSL tallied 20 of its kills in the second set before hitting .516 in the capper.

Selena Nolte recorded a match-high 14 kills, while sophomore
Charlotte Richards followed with 13.

Kaileen Herman dished out 41 assists and had a pair of service aces.

- With the win, UMSL improved to 5-0 for just the second time in program history and the first since 1987.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After hitting .195 in the first set loss, the Tritons connected at a .273 clip in the three set wins.
- UMSL also recorded a season-high seven aces, while the Warriors were also plagued by nine service aces.
- The Tritons were out-blocked, 12-6, but still racked up 60 kills.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Nolte pounded 19 kills, while Richards added a season-high 18 to go with 13 digs and three aces.
- Herman tallied 49 assists, while Woll finished with 18 digs and two aces.
