Hayes Ties Career-High 13 Saves Despite Setback at McKendree

LEBANON, ILL. – Junior Amber Hayes equaled her career-high with 13 saves on Friday night despite the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team suffering a 2-0 setback at McKendree in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bearcats finally got past Hayes on their 21st shot of the game in 71st minute and tacked on an insurance goal 10 minutes later.
 
McKendree held a 26-3 advantage in shots, including 15-2 in shots on goal and 6-0 in corner kicks.
 
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
Freshman Katelyn Grandcolas took all three UMSL shots, placing two on goal.
