ROLLA, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team remained perfect to open the season, sweeping Newman on Saturday in its final match of the Miner Invitational, hosted by Missouri S&T.
The Tritons won by set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-18 to start the season 4-0 for the first time since 1998.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tritons tallied a season-high five service aces and limited Newman to just .056 hitting, while outblocking the Jets, 6-1.
- UMSL hit at a .234 clip.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

Charlotte Richards finished with 12 kills, 12 digs and a pair of aces.
- Senior
Selena Nolte also finished in double figures with 12 kills.

Kaileen Herman dished out 37 assists and added three blocks.

Megan Woll registered 13 digs and two aces.
