KIRKSVILLE, MO. – University of Missouri-St. Louis sophomore
Jon Osa won two individual events and helped two relays to wins as the Tritons won 11 events in a dual at Truman State, despite falling to the Bulldogs, 986-781.
The women's team lost to Truman State, 887-789, and finished with five event wins.
Franziska Hauptmann broke her own school record in the 200 backstroke on Friday as the Tritons swimming teams competed at Truman State.
Hauptmann won the event in 2:05.08, while also winning the 100 backstroke and helping the 200 freestyle team to victory.
The UMSL men return to the pool on December 18, hosting Missouri S&T, while the women are idle until after the New Year.
