ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team saw its eight-game win streak snapped on Saturday afternoon with a 76-67 loss to visiting Rockhurst.
The Tritons shot 51.1 percent from the field, but turned the ball over 14 times, which led to 20 points for the Hawks. UMSL also left 10 points at the free-throw line, going 11-of-21 after entering the contest leading the GLVC at 80.7 percent from the charity stripe.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Rockhurst clung to a 34-31 halftime lead despite the Tritons shooting an even 52 percent in the first 20 minutes.
The Hawks took their largest lead of the game at 67-56 with 5:10 to play while UMSL responded with seven unanswered to pull within 67-63 on a three-pointer from senior
Shane Wissink with just under four minutes to play. However, Rockhurst netted the next five to hold on for the win.
Rockhurst shot 46.7 percent and made 11 three-pointers, while also owning a 34-31 rebounding advantage.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Redshirt sophomore Isaiah Fuller scored 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting.
- Redshirt junior Marquis Collins added 12 points, six rebounds and two assists.
- Wissink chipped in 11 points and three assists.
- Redshirt junior Steve Webb finished with eight assists and five rebounds, while redshirt junior Kellen King grabbed eight rebounds.
