The UMSL men's and women's swimming teams keep churning out top finishes.
On Friday, UMSL headed to Lewis University where the men's and women's teams both produced top finishes.
In the women's 200-yd medley relay, the team of
Franziska Hauptmann,
Zara Konstapel,
Kristen Stalder, and
Ava Boehning placed first (1:50.39).
Coming in third was the team of
Natalie Arthur,
Olivia Gawronski,
Seela Wang and
Kate Nelson (1:52.41).
In the men's 200-yd medley relay, the team of Guillem Roca,
Austin Stevenson,
Jon Osa, and
Aiden Clark placed first (1:33.75).
Coming in third with a time of 1:36.20 was Sergio Romero,
Ryan Clark,
Conley Savage, and
David Reynolds.
In the women's 100-yd freestyle,
Maria Serra placed second (11:14.20).
In the men's 100-yd freestyle, Romero placed second (10:06.21) and
Mason Stimson was fifth (10:34.51).
In the women's 200-yd freestyle, Hauptmann was second (2:01.72);
Serena Brizard was third (2:02.58); Boehning was fourth (2:03.87); Stalder was fifth (2:04.28);
Stephanie Schoemans was sixth (2:04.48) and Nelson was seventh (2:05.07).
In the men's 200-yd freestyle, Roca was second (1:43.19); Osa was third (1:44.23) and Reynolds was fifth (1:47.58).
In the women's 100-yd backstroke:
Lily Franzen was third (1:02.52);
Natalie Arthur was fourth (1:03.44) and
Bella Kudanovych was fifth (1:04.20).
For the men's 100-yd backstroke:
Ryan Conner was second (53.15); William Nickel was fourth (54.44) and
Kyler Lamb (55.00).
In the women's 100-yd breaststroke: Konstapel was first (1:07.25);
Olivia Gawronski (1:10.13) and
Cheyanne Godleski was sixth (1:11.33).
In the men's 100-yd breaststroke:
Ryan Clark was second (58.90); Stevenson was third (59.34) and
Aiden Clark was sixth (1:00.08).
