Alex LaPorta scored a game-high 29 points, while junior
Kiara Stewart pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds as the the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball team rolled past Missouri S&T, 77-54, on Thursday night.
Both players also had a double-double as LaPorta added 10 rebounds and seven assists to her stat line, while Stewart scored 15 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UMSL led 18-11 after the first quarter and widened the margin to 37-26 at the half. LaPorta scored 18 of her points in the first 20 minutes.
The Tritons owned a 60-43 advantage after three quarters.
