ROMEOVILLE, ILL. – The No. 7 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday in a 3-0 defeat at No. 2 ranked Lewis.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lewis had 15 kills in the first set, hitting .343, while the Tritons hit .176.
- UMSL had 12 attack errors in the second set with Lewis recording five blocks.
- The Tritons opened the third set with a 6-3 lead and later scored four straight to tie the frame at 21-21 before the Flyers pulled off the win.
- Lewis finished the match hitting .317 and out blocked UMSL, 8-2, to help limit the Tritons to .052 hitting. The Flyers totaled 46 kills with four players recording seven or more.
