ST. LOUIS, March 7, 2021 – The University of Missouri-St. Louis and Missouri S&T baseball teams played 12 innings of baseball on Sunday, finishing yesterday's second game which was suspended due to darkness, before concluding the series with a single game that went extra innings.
The Tritons earned a 6-5 win in the 10
th inning to win the suspended game, but lost an 11-7 decision in 11 innings of the finale.

It didn't take long for the Tritons to pick up the win as UMSL won it in the bottom of the 10
th on a two-out RBI single from freshman
Brandon Pasley. The Tritons took advantage of two S&T errors and two intentional walks in that frame.
Pasley was one of two players with two hits and also finished with two RBI. Freshman
Mitchell Spindler also had two hits and two RBI.

Grant Brunstetter earned the win in relief, throwing 15 pitches and striking out all three batters he faced in the top of the 10
th.
Game 2: Missouri S&T 11, UMSL 7 (11 inn.)
The Miners scored four times in the top of the 11
th to garner the victory after the Tritons plated two runs in the bottom of the ninth to force the extra play.
Juniors
Carson Holin and
John Hilpert each had an RBI double in the ninth inning.
UMSL recorded 12 hits, but struck out 20 times and left 11 runners on base. Missouri S&T tallied 12 hits, drew 12 walks and left 16 runners on base.
Holin and freshman
Leighton Keller had three hits each, while Hilpert finished with two, adding a three-run triple to finish with four RBI.
