OT Win Gives Men's Soccer Most Wins Since 2016

ST. CHARLES, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team got the golden goal from freshman Jack Meuse in the 96th minute to post a 1-0 overtime victory at Lindenwood on Thursday night.

After the ball was passed up the field by senior Zach Druhe, junior Garrett Bass made the short pass across the box to Meuse who one-timed from the right side for the game-winner.
 
UMSL recorded its sixth shutout of the season and put seven of its 13 shots on goal, while Lindenwood had 12 shots, including four on target, which were all saved by senior Anton Mukhin.
 
Meuse finished with three shots, including two on goal.
 
The victory was the seventh of the season for the Tritons, their most since the 2016 team won 10 games.
