ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team lost a 4-0 decision at Maryville on Friday afternoon in the start of a four-game GLVC series.
Records: UMSL (7-21, 5-16 GLVC), Maryville (11-14, 9-8 GLVC)
The Tritons were limited to just three hits as Saints ace Ryan Louck struck out 12 and didn't issue a walk in the complete game shutout that lasted just one hour and 40 minutes.
Nick Torres had a solid start for UMSL, allowing just one run on three hits in five innings. He tossed four scoreless innings before the Saints got on the board in the fifth.

John Hilpert all had singles for UMSL.
The series continues tomorrow with a Noon doubleheader.
