EAST PEORIA, ILL. – The No. 7 ranked and No. 2 seed University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team swept No. 7 seed Rockhurst on Friday afternoon in quarterfinal round action of the GLVC Tournament.
With the victory, the Tritons advance to tomorrow's semifinal against No. 3 seed Southern Indiana at 5 p.m.
UMSL prevailed with a 30-28 win in the first set before closing out the match with wins of 25-17 and 25-22.

GLVC Player of the Year
Charlotte Richards led the offense with a match-high 19 kills. The Tritons hit .231 as a team with senior
Kaileen Herman directing the offense with 46 kills. Both Richards and Herman tallied a double-double with Richards recording 13 digs and Herman 15.
Junior
Megan Woll finished with 22 digs, moving 30 digs shy of becoming the program's all-time career leader in that category.
Rockhurst was limited to .153 hitting, which included just .085 in the third set.
The win was the 10
th straight for UMSL, while Rockhurst had its seven-match win streak snapped.
