ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw against Maryville on Friday afternoon at the Maryville Soccer Field in Town and Country, Mo. The Tritons are now 5-6-3, 3-4-3 GLVC while the Saints are 7-2-5, 5-0-5 GLVC.
UMSL struck first with a goal in the 12th minute.

Jalyn Richardson who scored into the lower right corner for her sixth goal of the season. The Tritons extended their lead to 2-0 shortly before halftime as
Cammie Robinson scored into the lower right corner for her fourth goal of the year.
UMSL outshot Maryville 5-2 in the first 45 minutes including 2-1 in shots on goal.
The Saints cut the Triton lead in half in the 61
st minute as Molly Krispin scored into the lower right corner for her second goal of the season. Maryville kept the pressure and scored the tying goal with 90 seconds remaining. Gina Catanzano hit a shot off the crossbar but Lexi Gentry was their for the rebound scoring into the lower right corner for her fifth goal of the season.
The Saints outshot UMSL 10-3 in the second half including 4-1 in shots on goal to finish the contest with 12-8 advantage in shots. Each team finished with four shots on goal. Maryville had a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
The Tritons are back at home on Friday (Oct. 21) hosting Indianapolis at 5 p.m. at Don Dallas Field.
