Zara Konstapel had reason to smile after earning a B standard Friday in the women's 100 breaststroke (1:02.08) in the third day of the GLVC Championships.
The women are in sixth place with 464 points while Drury leads with 1,455.

Stephanie Schoemans was 23rd (59.80); and
Kristen Stalder was 25th (59.97).
In the men's 100 backstroke,
Guillem Masjuan Roca found more success as he earned a B standard with his 8th-place finish (49.02).
Jon Osa also received a B standard and will advance to the nationals with his 12th-place tally (48.49).
Ryan Conner was 17th (50.15).
The men are in seventh place with 472 points. UIndy is first with 1,250 points.
In the men's 100 breaststroke:
Austin Stevenson was 10th (55.27) and earned a B standard.
Ryan Clark was 17th (56.69).
Ian Heye was 23rd (57.51) and Elliot Labeau was 26th (59.13).
Brooklyn Messenger was 19th in the 200 fly (2:14.87).
Conley Savage earned a B standard with his 8th-place finish (1:49.39) in the 200 fly; William Nickel was 18th (1:51.15); and
Ethan Boehle was 25th (1:54.94).
In the 800 freestyle relay, taking sixth was
Maria Serra, Franzen, Schoemans, and
Rebecca Bechtel (7:57.43). Coming in 15th was the team of Hei, Godleski, Gawronski, and
Natalie Arthur (8:08.76).
In the men's 800 freestyle relay:

David Reynolds came in 9th (6:56.62).
Coming in 17th was
Mason Stimson,
