Saturday night marked the GLVC Championships finale in Elkhart, Ind., and the Tritons thrived -- a common theme to the weekend.
In the men's 100 freestyle,
Jon Osa was 10th (44.49) and earned an NCAA B standard, as did
Austin Stevenson, who placed 24th (45.49).
Aiden Clark was 39th (46.66).
In the women's 1650 freestyle,
Rebecca Bechtel was 13th (17:50.54).
In the men's 1650 freestyle,
Sergio Santisteban was 20th (16:18.53) and
Keven Stahl was 21st (16:25.22).
In the women's 100 freestyle,
Serena Brizard was 17th (51:56), earning a NCAA B standard.
Kate Nelson was 28th (53.18).
Ava Boehning was 34th (53.56) and
Kristen Stalder was 35th (53.61).
In the women's 200 backstroke,
Franziska Hauptmann was 7th (2:05.10).
Stephanie Schoemans was 20th (2:09.23) and
Lily Franzen was 24th (2:12.67).
Maria Serra was 26th (2:11.70) and
Brooklyn Messenger was 27th (2:12.07) and
Bella Kudanovych was 31st (2:15.05).
For the men's 200 backstroke,
Guillem Masjuan Roca was 4th and earned a B standard (1:45.36).
Ryan Conner was 16th (1:54.02).
Conley Savage was 18th and earned a B standard (1:49.29).
William Nickel was 21st (1:50.95) and
Kyler Lamb was 31st (1:55.53) and
Rami Hanin was 34th (1:57.05).
Women's 200 breaststroke:
Zara Konstapel tied Lindenwood's Beata Maruszczy for 3rd and earned a B standard.
Cheyanne Godleski was 22nd (2:29.08).
Amanda Hei was 23rd (2:30.81) and
Olivia Gawronski was 27th (2:33.21).
In the men's 200 breaststroke:
Ian Heye was 17th (2:03.62),
Ryan Clark was 22nd (2:05.52) and Elliot Labeau was 28th (2:13.31).
In the women's 400 freestyle relay, the team of Brizard, Stalder, Boehning, and Nelson was 5th (3:28.69).
The unit of Schoemans, Stevenson, Wang and Bechtel was 15th (3:36.63).
Placing 6th was the team of Roca,
Austin Stevenson, Osa and
Aiden Clark (3:00.86).
In the final event, the men's 400 freestyle relay,
Ryan Clark, Lamb, Nickel, and Reynolds were 16th (3:05.43).
