The UMSL Tritons women's basketball team pushed their record to 19-2 Saturday after defeating Missouri S&T 65-48 in Rolla.

The win makes nine-in-a-row for the Tritons.

Faye Meissner, Kiara Stewart, Jalysa Stokes, Alex LaPorta and Danielle Berry all tallied double-digit scoring.

UMSL set the tone, leading 32-24 at halftime, and used strong second and fourth quarters to establish the win.

The team shot 60 percent from the field in each period.

Rebounding once again was paramount, as the Tritons owned the 42-28 advantage.

UMSL is back in action Tuesday at Lewis for a make-up GLVC tilt.
