ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's swimming team dropped both ends of its dual meet to Lindenwood on Friday afternoon at the UMSL Swimming Pool. The women lost to the Lions 113-92 while the men fell 122-83.
The Triton women won six events in the dual led by freshman 
Justice Beard who won the 1650 freestyle and 500 free. Beard finished with a time of 17:12.08 in the1650 and 5:09.68 in the 500.
Freshman 
Kelsey Roth was the winner in the 200 free in a time of 1:58.76. Freshman 
Ella Lantz won the 100 back in a time of 58.28 seconds and fifth-year senior 
Zara Konstapel took first in the 100 breast at 1:05.94.
UMSL's 400 free relay team of Roth, sophomore 
Madison Bottorff, E. Lantz and freshman 
Audrey Lantz won the event in a time of 3:36.41.
Senior 
Maria Serra finished third in the 200 free, Bottorff was third in the 50 free and junior 
Kate Nelson, sophomore 
Isabella Gruidl Konstapel were third, fourth and fifth respectively in the 200 individual medley.
The Triton men picked up four event wins against the Lions. Freshman 
Hendrik Bechtel won the 1650 free with a time of 16:25.31, senior 
Guillem Masjuan Roca claimed the top spot in the 200 IM with a time of 1:53.95, senior 
Conley Savage was the winner in the 100 fly at 49.78 seconds and senior 
Ryan Conner won the 100 back at 52.57 seconds.
Senior 
David Reynolds was the runner-up in the 50 free, sophomore 
Aaron Wicklund and freshman 
Carson Ring finished second and third in the 500 free, junior 
Ethan Boehle was third in the 100 fly, junior 
Mason Stimson came in third in the 100 free and freshman 
Dylan Bonnett was third in the 100 breast.
UMSL's 400 free relay quartet of Masjuan Roca, Reynolds, Bechtel and Savage were second in a time of 3:08.30.
The Tritons return to the pool next Saturday as they travel to Kirksville, Mo., to take on Truman State at noon.
