WEEKLY REWIND…

Softball
The Tritons split its doubleheaders against No. 6 UIndy and McKendree this past weekend to clinch the second seed in this weekend's GLVC Tournament. Annie Scaramuzzi went 2-0 in the circle with a 1.00 ERA while striking out 19 batters in her two outings. She set down the final 20 hitters she faced in a row against McKendree on Sunday. McKenzie Lamos hit two game-winning home runs. Her home run on Saturday against UIndy broke a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning while her first inning two-run home run against the Bearcats erased a 1-0 deficit.

Track and Field
The Tritons sent a small group to the Millikin Big Blue Friday Night Invite last Friday and had three top 10 performances. Benjamin VandenBrink was third in the 1500 with a personal best time of 3:54 while Sean Ede and Sam Savastino finished ninth and 10th in the 5000 meters with times of 15:20.87 and 15:28.38 respectively.

Baseball
The Tritons were swept in their four-game weekend series at Missouri S&T this past weekend. Bryce Kulinski led the way at the plate going 8-16 with a home run, a double and drove in eight runs. He posted career-highs in hits (4) and RBI (7) in the series finale on Sunday.
