ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis swimming teams set two school records at UIndy's Last Chance Meet at the Ruth Lilly Center in Indianapolis on Friday evening.
Hendrik Bechtel broke his own school record in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:25.91 to improve his NCAA provisional qualifying time in the event.
Aaron Wicklund broke Patryk Golinski's school record in the 400-yard individual medley by 0.1 second finishing in 3:55.86.
Jaxson Mahlstadt turned personal best times in the 100-yard breaststroke at 56.85 seconds and 200 breast at 2:014.16.
Ethan Boehle swam a season best time of 50.09 seconds in the 100-yard fly and finished with a time of 1:53.14 in the 200 fly.
Guillem Masjuan Roca turned in a time of 1:51.25 in the 200 IM.
On the women's side,
Audrey Lantz posted a time of 51.98 in the 100 free and 57.27 in the 100 fly while
Kelsey Roth finished at 5:05.53 in the 500 free.
The NCAA will announce the competitors for the national championship meet – which will take place in Geneva, Ohio beginning March 12 – on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
