ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's tennis team dropped its regular season finale to No. 7 Indianapolis 4-2 on Saturday afternoon. The Tritons finish the regular season with an overall record of 9-11 including 2-3 in the GLVC while the Greyhounds improve to 13-4, 5-0.

The Tritons evened the score with a win at number three doubles as Marcos Navas and Tanin Ramnath beat David Simeonov and Pedro Franca 6-4. The doubles competition came down the final point as UIndy's tandem of Louis Picaud and Erwan Andre Momo defeated UMSL's Jose Mayorga and Joshua Mackey in a tiebreak 7-6 (7-5) to clinch the doubles point for the Greyhounds.

UIndy extended its lead in the match to 2-0 as Zeuch defeated Mayorga 6-4, 6-1 at number one singles. UMSL got on the board as Mackey defeated Simeonov 6-4, 6-2 in the fourth singles match. The Hounds made it 3-1 as Derache beat Navas 6-3, 6-4. Vigil brought the Tritons within 3-2 defeating Manuel Lanteri 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 at number five singles.
