ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team dropped its regular season finale to Missouri S&T 8-2 on Saturday at the UMSL Baseball Field.
The Tritons (30-20, 21-15 GLVC) honored seniors

Bryce Kulinski,
Brady Krile,
Jack Rhodes,
Grant Brunstetter,
Trent Anderson,
Mitchell Green and
Evan Furfaro prior to the start of the game.
The Miners (27-22, 17-18 GLVC) scored in each of the first five innings to take a 7-0 highlighted by a solo home run from Garrett Weiner and a three-run homer from Tyler Prince.
UMSL got a solo home run from Green with two out down the left field line for his seventh home run of the season and 20th of his career.
S&T regained its seven-run cushion on Sam Monroe's walk with the bases loaded that scored Tommy Ruether.
The Tritons made it 8-2 on
Jordan Aguallo's single up the middle that scored Mantz.
UMSL outhit the Miners 8-6 in the contest and were led by Laskowski with three.
Shane Kearbey got the start giving up two runs, one earned, on one hit with a pair of strikeouts in two innings pitched to fall to 0-1 on the season.
The Tritons will be the number five seed and take on fourth seeded Quincy in the first round of the GLVC Tournament at a time to be announced next Wednesday (May 8) at Mtn. Dew Park in Marion, Ill.
