SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team suffered a 2-1 loss to Drury on Sunday afternoon at Harrison Stadium at the Curry Sports Complex in Springfield, Mo. The Tritons drop to 3-1, 0-1 GLVC while the Panthers improve to 3-0-1, 1-0 GLVC.
Drury broke the deadlock in the second half with a 63
rd minute Kourtney Tucker goal. A through pass from Andrea Camargo found Tucker underneath the backline and Tucker took a touch and slotted it past
Mary Kate Neal to give Drury a 1-0 lead.
Less than two minutes later, the Panthers scored again. Leah McDonald got her head on the in-swinging corner and headed it down past Neal to make it 2-0 with less than 25 minutes to go in the match.

Jada Holloman scored to bring UMSL within one.
Josie Maddox fed the ball through to Holloman on the right side of the box for Holloman to tuck inside the far post. It was the senior's fifth goal of the season.
There was a clear difference between the first and second half. In the first, the Tritons had the slight advantage with two shots on net and three shots total compared to Drury's six shots but only two on net.
In the second half, the Panthers managed five shots on net and eight shots total to UMSL's two shots on goal and seven total shots. The Tritons did have an 8-5 corner kick advantage over the Panthers.
Neal had a busy game, making five saves in the match. She had two saves to start the second half that kept UMSL level as Drury pressured early.
The Tritons continue their three-game road trip on Friday traveling back down to Southwest Missouri to take on Southwest Baptist in Bolivar at 4 p.m.
