ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to four with a 1-1 tie against Missouri S&T on Sunday afternoon at Creve Coeur Soccer Park in St. Louis. The Tritons are 3-2-3, 1-1-3 GLVC while the Miners are 5-1-2, 2-0-2 GLVC.
The game was tied at the intermission but S&T held an 8-5 advantage in shots with each side recording four shots on goal.
UMSL broke the scoreless deadlock in the 76th minute scoring off a corner kick.

Linus Saewe in the box and he scored past Cavitt Bruhn for his first goal of the season.
The Miners came right back scoring 0:30 later off a corner kick of their own. Grant Polman served it to the top of the box where Alexander Burum hit a one-timer past
Austin Reis into the lower right corner.
S&T had a chance at the game-winner but Reis made a save on Jimmy Sanchez to preserve the tie.
The Tritons were outshot in the contest 14-6 including 9-5 in shots on goal. Reis made a season-high eight saves. Each team had six corner kicks in the contest.
UMSL concludes its three-game homestand hosting Maryville next Friday at Don Dallas Field at 7:30 p.m.
