WEEKLY REWIND…
Volleyball
The Tritons went 3-1 at Nebraska-Kearney's Rosella Meier Fall Classic this past weekend.
Skylar Weaver continued her strong play averaging 6.1 digs per set in the four matches played.
Cross Country
Will Kaempfe won his second consecutive race winning the 8K at the Larry Young Invitational with a time of 25:33.32. The Triton men finished sixth overall with 159 points. In the women's race,
Bella Massaro was the team's top finisher covering the 5K course in a time of 21:20.10. The Triton women finished eighth overall with 222 points.
Women's Golf
The Tritons picked up their first event win of the season winning the UIndy Fall Invitational with a 54-hole total score of 869 (289-285-295) last Monday and Tuesday at Champions Pointe Golf Club in Henryville, Ind.
Hillary Currier was the team's top finisher coming in third with a final score of 213 (72-72-69). She and
Wilma Zanderau were named to the All-Tournament team.
Men's Soccer
The Tritons went 0-1-1 last week. They dropped a 2-1 decision at Roosevelt on Wednesday evening with
Alexander Ramirez Aoueiss accounting for the goal. On Sunday, UMSL opened GLVC play with a 1-1 draw against Drury.
Michael Quinn scored for the Tritons.
Women's Soccer
The Tritons went 0-1-1 this past week. They dropped a 1-0 contest to Northwest Missouri State on Wednesday and then opened GLVC play with a 1-1 draw against Drury on Sunday.
Natalie Scott scored her first goal of the season in Sunday's contest.
Men's Tennis
The Tritons opened the fall portion of their schedule falling to Missouri Baptist 6-1 last Friday at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
Henry Roberts won his match over Sebastian Junghanns in three sets for the UMSL point.
Women's Tennis
The Tritons defeated Missouri Baptist 7-0 last Friday at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
Hannah Tse, Aleksandra Lopez, Millie Wileman, Morgan Lint and
Anna Favaron all went 2-0 on the day. UMSL competed at the Southeast Missouri State Redhawk Fall Tournament on Saturday.
