ST. LOUIS -- The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team tied Rockhurst 1-1 in a hard-fought contest on Friday night at Don Dallas Field. Tritons are 0-1-3, 0-0-2 GLVC while the Hawks are 2-2-1, 1-0-1 GLVC.
UMSL broke through just forty seconds into the second half.

Tommy Wortham in space at the top of the box. Wortham chipped the Rockhurst keeper and put the ball in the right-side netting, giving the Tritons the 1-0 lead.
Rockhurst drew a penalty in the 63
rd minute but Triton goalkeeper
Jack Franklin read Kaden Cripes penalty kick correctly, making the save and preserving UMSL's one goal lead.
Cripe scored in the 87
th minute off a low cross from Blake Barrick to even the score at 1-1.
UMSL had 11 shots in the contest, three on net.
Kyler Sorber and
Gibson Hunt had two shots apiece, leading the Tritons in attempts.
Franklin made six saves in the contest.
UMSL takes on Southwest Baptist (3-3, 0-2 GLVC) on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at Don Dallas Field.
