EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis swimming teams head to Southern Indiana this week to compete at the 2026 GLVC Swimming and Diving Championships on Feb. 10-14 at the Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Ind. A combined total of 21 men's and women's teams will square off this week.
Action starts with the 800 free relay finals Tuesday night at 6 p.m. The standard championship meet format follows, with morning preliminaries (10 a.m.) and evening finals (5:30 p.m.) Wednesday through Saturday. In between, the diving competitions will take place at 12:30 p.m. every day and will include both prelims and finals with a short break in between.
The GLVC Championships will be streamed live on the GLVC Sports Network at GLVCSN.com, with a pay-per-view pricing model in place. The GLVCSN Android and iOS apps can also be downloaded on your mobile device, while the OTT platforms on Roku, Amazon fireTV, Android TV, and Apple TV are compatible with the GLVCSN app.
Last February, the Triton women finished fifth with a total of 738 points.
Justice Beard won the 500 free with a GLVC record setting time of 4:50.42 and was the runner-up in the 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle races.
Beard enters the championships ranked first in the conference in the 500, 1,000 and 1,650 free, is third in the 200 free and eighth in the 200 fly.
Libby Smith is ranked second in the 1000 free, fifth in the 1650 and ninth in the 400 individual medley.
Ella Lantz is ranked in the top 10 in the 100 back (third) and 200 back (eighth),
Uxue Ortiz de Pinedo is third in the 200 breast,
Audrey Lantz is fourth in the 500 free and
Romina Itzkovich is fifth in the 200 IM and 10th in the 100 fly.
The Triton men came in sixth last season with a total of 602.5 points.
Aaron Wicklund is ranked in the top 20 in three events in the conference heading into the meet. He is sixth in the 200 breast, 10th in the 400 IM and 11th in the 200 IM.
Mattia Nardi is ranked 14th in the 200 fly, 17th in the 400 IM and 20th in the 200 IM.
Lathan Parks enters the meet 11th in the free while
Landon Hanesworth is 13th in the 100 breast and
Mikael Larsson is 20th in the 200 back.
