Wicklund Earns Honorable Mention All-America Honors In 200 Breast

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Missouri-St. Louis senior swimmer Aaron Wicklund capped his career earning honorable mention All-America honors in the 200 breaststroke on Saturday evening at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships at the Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Ind.

Wicklund swam out of lane two in the third heat of the morning preliminary race finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 1:59.55 to earn spot in the consolation final in the evening session. He came back later in the evening swimming a time of 1:59.77 to finish sixth in the consolation final and 14th overall.

Wicklund's finish earned three team points for the Tritons as they finished 30th in the meet.
