Mara Rieder has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2 CCA) All-America and Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America teams as announced on Wednesday by the organizations. She was named to the D2 CCA Second Team and was an honorable mention selection on the WBCA squad.
Rieder becomes the fifth player in program history to earn All-America status and first since Alex LaPorta received the accolade after the 2020-21 season.
The Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-GLVC selection, Rieder led the conference in scoring at 19.5 points per game, blocked shots with 68, blocks per game (2.27), field goals made (238) and field goal attempts (448). She was second in the league in rebounds per game with 10.1, in double-doubles with 17 and free throw percentage at 86 percent.
She scored her 1,000th career point in the GLVC Tournament semifinal win over Lewis on March 7. Rieder ranks 13th all-time in scoring (1,053 points) and is third all-time in blocked shots with 126. Her 585 points scored this season are the third most in a single season in program history while her 302 rebounds, 238 field goals made and 68 blocks are all second best in a single season.
Rieder was named GLVC Player of the Week four times this season and was the only player from the conference to receive All-America accolades.
The Tritons finished the 2025-26 season with a program record 25 wins, won the GLVC regular season title and won their first NCAA Tournament contest in program history.
