Trigg Lindahl,
Logan Mayo and
Dani Solavera have added to their postseason resume, having been named to the Division II PING All-Midwest Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The trio were three of 12 players form the region selected after leading the Tritons during the year. Solavera leads UMSL with a 73.03 scoring average while Mayo follows closely behind at 73.08 average and Lindahl has a 73.24 average.
Lindahl has played in 14 events this season with four top five and five top 10 finishes. His best finish this season came at the GLVC Championship where he finished as the runner-up with a 54-hole score of 211 and he also finished in a tie for fourth with a total score of 215 at the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional.
Mayo, a repeat all-region selection, recorded 10 top finishes in 10 of 14 tournaments, including four in the top five. His top finish came on a 54-hole season-best 209 at the Findlay Spring Invitational back in March. Mayo also finished in the top 10 at the GLVC Championships.
Solavera has played in 14 events this season with one event win, three top five and four top 10 finishes. He won the Arch Cup back in September with a 36-hole score of 136. Solavera finished second at the NCAA Midwest/Central Region with a 54-hole total score of 213 and finished in the top 10 at the GLVC Championships.
