Six Triton Golfers Named To CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team

ST. LOUIS – Six University of Missouri-St. Louis golf student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District team that was announced on Tuesday.
Representing the Tritons are Leo Baudry, Benjamin Berger, Ludvig Granlund, Trigg Lindahl, Logan Mayo and Emmy Wahl.

To be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete needs to have appeared in at least 70 percent of the team's scored contests and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Baudry, a data science and analysis major, played 39 rounds in 12 tournaments this past season and finished with a scoring average of 74.00. He finished the season with an event win and three top 15 finishes and shot a season low round of 68 twice this past fall. Baudry was named to the Division II Ping All-America team last week.

Berger, a business finance major, played in 36 rounds across 12 tournaments this past season and finished with a scoring average of 74.36. He had two top 10 finishes, shot par or better in 11 rounds and had a season low round of 65 in his quarterfinal match in the NCAA medal/match play round.

Granlund, a business major, played in 35 rounds over the course of 12 events this past season and finished with a scoring average of 73.86. He had two top 10 finishes, shot par or better in 13 rounds and had a season-low score of 68 in the final round of the National Preview last October.

Lindahl, an international business major, appeared in 43 rounds covering 17 events this past season and finished with a scoring average of 72.88. He had four top five finishes, five top 10 finishes and shot a season-low round of 65 in his quarterfinal match in the NCAA medal/match play. Lindahl was the runner-up at the GLVC Championship meet.

Mayo, a finance major, played in 42 rounds over 17 events and had a scoring average of 72.62. He finished in a tie for fourth in the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championships, had five top five and seven top finishes. Mayo shot par or better in 20 rounds and had a season-low score of 66 in his quarterfinal match in the NCAA medal/match play.

Wahl, a biology major, played in 39 rounds over 15 events this past season and had a scoring average of 78.23. She had one top 10 finish, shot par or better once and had a season-low score of 71 in the second round of the UIndy Invitational last fall.

Academic All-District honorees who advanced to the CSC Academic All-America Ballot, First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 7 (women) and July 8 (men).
