Central Bank Named Presenting Partner of UMSL Athletics

ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri–St. Louis Department of Athletics has announced a new multi-year partnership with Central Bank, naming the financial institution as the Exclusive Banking Partner of UMSL Athletics.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to investing in the success of UMSL student-athletes both on and off the field, course, court, and pool. In addition to enhancing the game-day experience for Triton fans, the collaboration will provide opportunities for financial education, student engagement, and community outreach throughout the year.

As part of the agreement, Central Bank will receive prominent visibility across UMSL Athletics, including LED scorer's table advertising during home basketball and volleyball contests, commercials during all streamed home athletic events on the GLVC Sports Network, digital and social media recognition, and logo placement on the UMSL Athletics website. The partnership also includes six on-campus activations each season, presenting sponsorship of two annual game-day promotions, and opportunities for Central Bank representatives to engage directly with UMSL student-athletes and athletics staff through financial wellness and professional development presentations. Central Bank will also serve as the Exclusive Banking partner of UMSL Athletics for the duration of the agreement.

"Our partnership with Central Bank is about much more than sponsorship visibility," said Dr. Holly Sheilley, Executive Director of Athletics. "Central Bank shares our commitment to developing the whole student-athlete. Together, we will create meaningful opportunities to educate our students on financial wellness, support their personal and professional growth, and enhance the overall experience for Triton fans and the greater St. Louis community. We are excited to welcome Central Bank to our team and look forward to building something that will have a lasting impact."

The partnership will feature a variety of game-day promotions and fan engagement opportunities throughout the athletic season, while also extending beyond competition through educational programming focused on topics such as budgeting, credit management, identity theft prevention, and financial planning. These initiatives reinforce both organizations' commitment to preparing students for success long after graduation.

"This partnership reflects everything Central Bank stands for: Strong Roots. Endless Possibilities. Our roots in St. Louis run generations deep and by investing in UMSL's student-athletes we're helping open the door to what's possible for them and for our community," said Dan Kleffner (UMSL MBA 1997), President and Chief Operating Officer for Central Bank. "."

The agreement further strengthens UMSL Athletics' growing corporate partnership portfolio while providing Central Bank with meaningful opportunities to connect with thousands of Triton fans, students, alumni, and community members throughout the St. Louis region.
