Brittany Harbaugh converted on a penalty kick for the game's only score as the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team posted a 1-0 victory over Lewis Saturday in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Harbaugh's game-winner came at the 28:15 mark after sophomore
Kayla Thorpe was fouled in the box.
Lewis edged UMSL, 8-7, in shots, including 4-2 in shots on goal. The Tritons improve to 3-6-1 overall, including 3-5 in the GLVC, while the Flyers slip to 7-4 and 5-4 in the league.
Junior
Kaitlyn Smugala played all 90 minutes in goal, recording four saves, while posting her second shutout of the season.

UMSL returns to the field tomorrow hosting Wisconsin-Parkside at 12 p.m.
