Live Stats | Video | Audio

SETTING THE SCENE
The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball team travels to Memphis, Tenn., in its first road test of the season at Christian Brothers University on Tuesday night. The Tritons are looking to improve to 2-0, while the hosts Bucs are seeking their first win of the season.

THE SERIES
UMSL leads the series with Christian Brothers, 3-1. This is the fourth straight year the two programs have meet with UMSL winning each of the three previous years, including a 55-37 victory in St. Louis last season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Christian Brothers has opened the season with losses to Harding (73-50) and Arkansas Tech (58-41). Candis Clear averages 12.5 points and 3.0 rebounds for the Bucs and has hit seven three-pointers in two games, while Breanna Ridgell adds 11.5 points per game.

AN UMSL WIN AT CHRISTIAN BROTHERS WOULD...
... move the Tritons to 2-0 for the first time since the 2010-11 season.
... improve the Tritons to 4-1 all-time against the Bucs and be the fourth straight win the series.

SIZING UP THE TRITONS
UMSL opened the season with a 53-50 win at home over Hannibal-LaGrange last Monday. The Tritons received 12 points and 12 rebounds from junior Hazaria Washington, while sophomore Kelly McGovern added 10 points.

UMSL returns eight letterwinners from last year's 10-17 team, which posted a 5-13 Great Lakes Valley Conference record and advanced to the league's post-season tourney for the third straight year.

UP NEXT
UMSL returns to action next Tuesday, hosting Missouri Baptist at 5 p.m.
