UMSL saw Upper Iowa rally back from a 15-point second half deficit en route to the 81-75 loss to the Peacocks on Tuesday night. The Tritons used a 9-2 run to open the second half, turning a 45-39 halftime lead into a 56-41 advantage with 16:43 to play. However, Upper Iowa began chipping away and took a 74-73 lead it would not relinquish with 2:04 to play. Senior
Darian Cartharn led UMSL with 16 points, knocking down 4-of-9 three pointers. After scoring 45 points and shooting 53.1 percent in the first half, the Tritons were held to 30 second half points and a 34.3 shooting percentage.
HOME SWEET HOME
UMSL owns a 342-207 (.623) record in its home facility - the Mark Twain Building. The arena opened in the fall of 1971 and during the 1971-72 season, the Tritons posted a 13-0 record on their new home court. UMSL was 11-4 on its home floor last season.

UMSL has won 14 straight nonconference games at home since the start of the 2010-11 season. It's last non-league loss came on December 21, 2009 in a 63-48 setback to Christian Brothers.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Robert Morris-Springfield is 4-5 overall, having lost its last two games to fellow GLVC opponents Quincy (92-78) and Missouri S&T (109-98). Denzell Walker averages more than 23 points per game for the Eagles and is coming off a 33-point effort at Missouri S&T, in which he hit 6-of-9 three-pointers.

UMSL is 10-0 all-time against Robert Morris-Springfield and posted an 83-54 win over the Eagles last season.
