ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team had three players named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Representing the Tritons are
Colby Dolphin,
Jake Hamilton and
Taye Moore. The Academic All-America teams will be announced on April 14.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in eligibility and academically with a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average and have competed in at least 90 percent of the team's games played or started in at least two-thirds of the team's total contests.
Dolphin is majoring in finance with a 3.62 GPA. He appeared in 27 game with two starts this season averaging 4.3 points and 0.7 rebounds per game while distributing 21 assists and recording 12 steals. He scored an UMSL career-high of 21 points in the win at Southwest Baptist on Jan. 10. Dolphin knocked down threes in the contest. He shot 35.4 percent from three and 83.3 percent at the foul line this season.
Hamilton, also a finance major with a 3.54 grade point average, started all 29 games for the Tritons this past season. He was second on the team in scoring with 11.0 points per outing and averaged 5.4 rebounds. Hamilton was second on the team with 42 steals and third in assists with 54. He reached double figures in scoring 19 times this season highlighted by an UMSL career-high of 22 points against Dallas Baptist back in December in San Antonio.
Moore, a nursing major has a 3.86 GPA. He started 27 games for the Tritons and led the team in scoring with 15.0 points per contest and was second on the team with 93 assists. Moore was a second team All-GLVC selection this season. He reached double figures in scoring 19 times this season and had seven games with at least 20 points. Moore scored a career-high 27 points against Michigan Tech back in November in Wisconsin.
The Tritons finished the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 16-13 including 10-10 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
