ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team recorded a 99-70 victory over Robert Morris-Springfield on Saturday afternoon.

UMSL improves to 3-2 with the win, while Robert Morris-Springfield, playing its third straight Great Lakes Valley Conference opponent, falls to 4-6.
The Tritons shot 60.6 percent in the first half, including 60 percent (6-of-10) from three-point range en route to a 52-35 halftime lead.
UMSL ended the game shooting 55.2 percent, including 47.6 percent (10-of21) from three-point range and owned a 41-27 rebounding advantage. Smith pulled down eight rebounds, including four on the offensive end. The Tritons held a 16-8 edge on the offensive glass and outscored Robert Morris-Springfield, 20-6, in second chance points.
UMSL tallied 23 assists on 37 field goals with Weber and Smith each dishing out four assists. Junior
Derek Shouse collected a team-best three steals.
UMSL continues its current five-game home stand next Friday (Nov. 29), hosting Hannibal-LaGrange at 7 p.m.
