LAKELAND, FLA. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team got in the win column today, sweeping Tiffin to garner its first two victories of the season. The Tritons won the opener, 5-3, before posting a 3-2 victory in the nightcap.

Paul Richmond had a pair of singles in the game one victory, while senior
Michael Budka recorded a two-run double in the third inning.Â

Jonathan Rosario got the win on the mound, working five and one-thirds of an inning. He allowed all three Tiffin runs on six hits.
The Dragons then took a 2-0 lead in game two, before three unanswered runs by UMSL helped the Tritons to the win. Junior
Shane Brinker led off the fifth inning with a walk and later scored to make it 2-1, while Brinker then drove senior
Tyler Bunge in for the tying run in the sixth inning.

Justin Lois led off the ninth inning with a single and later scored on a Tiffin error for the game-winner. Lois, Richmond and junior
Daniel Seddon each had two hits.

Chris True picked up the win in relief, allowing just two hits in four innings, while striking out three.
UMSL (2-3) will host Indianapolis next Saturday and Sunday in its home opener. Doubleheaders each day are slated for 12 p.m. starts.
