Baseball Claims Two Wins at No. 22 Drury

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Junior Zach Sedlacek tossed his third straight complete game victory on Saturday, helping the University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team to a 3-1 victory at No. 22 ranked Drury in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

After Drury combined for 27 hits in last night's doubleheader sweep of the Tritons, Sedlacek quieted the Panther bats, limiting the hosts to just two hits. He retired the first nine batters he faced and the final 12.

The Tritons then completed the Saturday sweep of Drury by winning the nightcap, 6-2. UMSL improves to 23-19 with the wins, while Drury slips to 33-11 and 24-6 in the league.

Freshman Jake Beckwith highlighted the offense, going 6-for-9 at the plate with three runs scored.
