The Redhawks, playing in their season opener, improve to 1-0, while the Tritons played the contest as an exhibition. UMSL will open its season next Friday at home, hosting Waldorf College at 5 p.m.
SEMO, an NCAA DI member, outshot the Tritons, 12-1. The Redhawks tallied both goals in the 74
th minute with the first coming on a penalty kick.
