ST. LOUIS, MO. – Southern Indiana's Brian Fischer scored from 40 yards out with two seconds to play to give the visiting Screaming Eagles a 1-0 win over the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team on Sunday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Fischer's game-winner sailed over Tritons keeper
Jack Filla into the upper right to break the scoreless game. UMSL slips to 7-7-2 overall, including 6-6-2 in the GLVC, while Southern Indiana improves to 7-6-3, 5-6-3 in league play. The loss also spoiled senior day for the Tritons, who honored their eight graduating players before the final home contest of the season. Those seniors include

Connor Carnduff,
Andres Parada,
Richie Hoffman and
Chris Pearson.
UMSL was outshot, 15-8, including 8-0 in shots on goal. Filla made seven saves before the goal.
