The Tritons are coming off two losses in their first GLVC roadtrip of the year, but have won their last two contests at home. UMSL will host Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday before welcoming No. 8 ranked Lewis on Saturday. Â
SIZING UP THE TRITONSUMSL is 6-7 overall and 1-4 in the GLVC. The Tritons are coming off losses at Saint Joseph's (75-71) and Indianapolis (64-55) last weekend. Despite the two setbacks, redshirt sophomore
Jordan Fletcher broke out offensively, averaging 26.5 points per game. She tallied her first double-double of the season with a then career-high 22 points at St. Joe's to go with 10 rebounds and followed that up with a new career-high 31 points at UIndy. Fletcher shot 76 percent from the field and was also 15-of-17 at the free throw line, while averaging 8.0 rebounds per game.
Fletcher upped her season average to 9.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game and is shooting 63.3 percent from the field, which ranks second in the GLVC. In conference-only games, Fletcher is averaging 15.6 points (ranks 11th) and 6.4 rebounds (18th) per game, while shooting 66.7 percent (ranks first).

Kelly Kunkel averages team-bests of 12.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Five different players average at least seven points, while five different players have led the team in scoring this season.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTSWisconsin-Parkside is 9-4 overall, including 3-2 in GLVC play. The Rangers, which have won four of their last five games, are coming off a 54-48 win over then No. 6 Drury last Saturday. UW-Parkside's lone setback in its last five games was a four-point loss to then No. 7 Lewis. In GLVC-only games, the Rangers are averaging a league-best 9.25 three-pointers per game. Kristin Conniff has made 28 three-pointers and paces the squad with 13.6 points per game and has also made a team-high 46 trips to the free throw line, where she is shooting 80.4 percent. UW-Parkside is connecting at a 75.4 percent clip from the charity stripe as a team, which ranks fourth in the GLVC.
Lewis, ranked No. 8 nationally in NCAA DII, enters a Thursday game at Maryville with a 14-1 record, including a 5-0 GLVC mark, and are also on a nine-game win streak. The Flyers are led by All-American Mariyah Brawner-Henley's 18.5 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. Lewis averages 75.9 points per game, while shooting 50.2 percent from the field. The Flyers also top the league in rebounding margin at +8.9.
SERIES HISTORIESUMSL is 10-17 all-time against Wisconsin-Parkside and lost last year's meeting, a 76-68 decision, in Kenosha. The Rangers last visited St. Louis during the 2013-14 season when the Tritons posted a 74-50 victory.
Lewis leads the all-time series with UMSL, 22-7, and has won three straight, including a 79-58 verdict last year in Romeoville. Â
