BENTONVILLE, ARK. – It was a tough day to be a batter in the box facing University of Missouri-St. Louis senior pitcher
Hannah Perryman on Friday as the No. 7 ranked Tritons won two games at the 8-State Classic, hosted by Arkansas-Monticello.
Perryman tossed her 12
th career no-hitter in a 4-0 victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State before striking out 18 in a 7-0 victory over Northeastern State.
Perryman moved into a tie for fourth place on the NCAA DII charts for career no-hitters, while her 18 strikeout game ties the third best seven-inning effort in NCAA DII history. Additionally, Perryman, the active career strikeouts leader across all NCAA divisions, moved up to seventh place on the NCAA DII career charts with 1,231 strikeouts.
UMSL improves to 8-0 on the season and returns to the field tomorrow with games against East Central (1 p.m.) and Nebraska Kearney (3 p.m.).

Ryan Logan tallied two of UMSL's seven hits. Logan reached on a two-out triple in the second inning and came home on junior
Rachel Matthies' RBI single for the first run and also scored in the sixth inning on an RBI single from sophomore
Jennah Perryman that accounted for the final score.

Sara Kern was responsible for the Tritons' other two runs, recording a two-out two-run single to shortstop in the third inning.
GAME 2: UMSL 7, Northeastern Oklahoma State 0The Tritons tallied nine hits, including two each from sophomore
Jennah Perryman and senior
Erin Walker. Seven of UMSL's nine batters recorded at least one hit, while all nine reached base at least once.
The Tritons scored three runs in each the third and sixth innings, including a two-run double in the sixth from Olson.
H. Perryman struck out the final eight batters she faced and allowed just one hit, a leadoff single in the third inning. However, Olson threw down that runner trying to steal second as well, allowing Perryman to face the minimum 21 batters.
