Ries Notches Ninth Goal Despite Loss at Drury

SPRINGFIELD, MO. – University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer senior Pat Ries notched his ninth goal of the season despite the Tritons' 4-1 loss at Drury Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
 
Ries leads the GLVC with nine goals and 21 points.
 
The Panthers took a 2-0 lead into halftime and made it 3-0 before Ries struck in the 62nd minute from 12 yards out on the left side.
 
UMSL slips to 5-6-2 overall, including 5-5-1 in the GLVC, while Drury improves to 6-5-1 and 5-4-1 in the league.
 
Drury outshot the Tritons, 17-8, including 10-2 in shots on goal.
 
UMSL plays its final regular season road contest at Missouri S&T on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
