Pat Ries had a goal and an assist to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team to a 2-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory at Wisconsin-Parkside on Sunday afternoon, while fellow senior
Pim Boonstra also scored.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boonstra scored his first goal of the season in the 19
th minute off a short cross from Ries on the first shot attempt by the Tritons.
- Ries then scored a goal of his own at the 57:00 mark, breaking away from the defense and putting in his own rebound. It was his team-leading sixth goal of the season.
- The Rangers avoided the shutout in the 67
th minute.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- UMSL outshot UW-Parkside, 11-7, including 6-2, in shots on goal, while the Rangers led in corners, 4-2.
- Ries had two shots, both on goal, while junior
Oscar Gordillo also took two shots.
