SETTING THE SCENE
- UMSL rings in the new year by hosting Maryville and Missouri S&T on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.

- The Saints are 4-4 overall, including 0-1 in the GLVC.
- Maryville was picked 12th in the GLVC Preseason Coaches Poll.
- Of the 13 players on the Saints roster, seven are underclassmen, including five freshmen.
- Freshman Parker Long averages 16.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

- The Miners are 3-4 overall and 1-0 in the GLVC.
