SETTING THE SCENE
UMSL concludes the regular season at home this week, hosting Lewis on Thursday before welcoming Illinois Springfield on Saturday. Following its finale against UIS, the Tritons will  honor their three seniors - Laura Szorenyi, Grace Morrow and Amaria Allen.

The Tritons are 14-13 overall, including 9-9 in the GLVC and have won seven of their last nine, including two at home last weekend, extending their homecourt win streak to six games.

UMSL will be looking to move back into the top eight in the GLVC Point Rating System (PRS), used to determine the field and seeding for the GLVC Tournament. Despite two wins, the Tritons dropped to ninth place and now trails Bellarmine by .20 points.

ABOUT LEWIS
Lewis is 18-7 overall, including 14-4 in the GLVC and sit in second place in the GLVC PRS.  The Flyers have won three straight and own a 9-5 record in road games.

UMSL-LEWIS SERIES
Lewis leads the all-time series, 26-9, although UMSL earned a 71-60 victory earlier this season in the first meeting in Romeoville, Ill., handing the Flyers their first GLVC loss. The Tritons held Lewis, which entered the game shooting a league-best 50 percent from the field in GLVC-only games, to a 39.3 percent clip.

Lewis is traveling to UMSL for the first time since 2015-16 and won that game, 59-45.

ABOUT ILLINOIS SPRINGFIELD
UIS enters a Thursday road game at Lindenwood with an overall record of 9-17, which includes a 4-14 GLVC mark. The Prairie Stars have lost two straight and are 1-8 in road games.
