Box Score 2 ST. CHARLES, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader at No. 13 ranked Lindenwood on Friday in the start of a four-game GLVC series. The host Lions won by scores of 3-0 and 7-1.
The Tritons conclude the series and their season tomorrow with another doubleheader scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Tritons pitching staff surrendered just five hits, but offensively, UMSL was limited to four hits, including a double from
Matt DiMemmo, who also drew two walks.
Nick Torres suffered the loss, allowing two runs on five hits. He struck out five and walked four.
Game 2: Lindenwood 7, UMSL 1
Jacob Stoker drove in the Triton run in the sixth inning on a double.
It was one of four hits by UMSL, who was unable to draw a walk and struck out 12 times.
The Lions opened the game with four runs on five hits and two UMSL errors in the first inning.
Bobby Shallenberger went the distance in his final collegiate game. He scattered 11 hits and allowed all seven runs, although three were unearned.
