Juan Antonio Padilla has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Player of the Week in men's golf, it was announced by the league office Thursday (Sept. 29).

- Finished tied for fourth in 100-golfer field
- Shot 3-under-par 213 (74-74-65), averaging 71 strokes per round
- Tied for lowest round of tournament in third round and fourth-lowest, 18-hole score in school history
- Helped UMSL to team win after playoff victory against Henderson State
- Earns first career Player of the Week Award

The Tritons return to the course next Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 3-4) as they host the Midwest Regional at Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, Ill.
