ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team hits the road for a pair of matches this weekend traveling to Rolla on Friday to take on Missouri S&T at 5 p.m. and then concludes the weekend with a match at cross town rival (RV) Maryville on Sunday afternoon at noon.
Last Time Out - The Tritons (4-2-3, 3-1-1 GLVC) picked up four points last weekend defeating UIndy 4-0 last Friday and then played to a 1-1 draw against Lewis on Sunday.

Kayley Judy had four points for the weekend as each tallied a goal and an assist.

Josie Maddox had a goal apiece.
GLVC Standings – As the Tritons near the midway point of the GLVC schedule they find themselves in fourth place in the conference standings with 10 points. Drury leads the league at 16 points and are followed by Maryville with 15 points and Lewis has 11 points. The third through 11 spots in the standings are separated by five points. The top eight teams in the final standings will advance to the GLVC Tournament which begins Nov. 5. The top four teams will host a first-round contest with the winners moving on to East Peoria, Ill., the following weekend for the final two rounds.
Statistical Rankings – UMSL is third in the GLVC in scoring this season with 45 points and is averaging five points per contest. The Tritons 16 goals scored and 14 assists are fourth best in the league.
Holloman is tied with McKendree's Anna Stiffler for the league lead with five goals scored and is second in points scored with 11.
Jaycee Cotton is tied for second in the league with two game-winning goals.
Grace Hastert is third in the conference in saves with an 0.826 save percentage, fifth in goals against average at 0.800, eighth in saves per game (3.80) and tied for ninth with two shutouts.
About Missouri S&T – The Miners enter Friday night's contest with a record of 3-3-3, 2-3-1 in the GLVC and are 2-0-1 at home this season. Last weekend, S&T dropped a 2-0 decision at Rockhurst and then defeated William Jewell 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Amelia Mundo and Beth Roberts lead the team in scoring with nine and eight points respectively. Mundo has tallied four goals and an assist while Roberts has scored three goals and added two assists. Anastasia Barcom has made six of the nine starts in goal and has conceded six goals, has a goals against average of 1.09 and has made 21 saves.
About Maryville – The Saints enter Friday's contest against McKendree with a record of 7-2-1, 5-1 in the GLVC and have won their last three contests. Maryville went 2-0 last weekend defeating William Jewell 7-0 and Rockhurst 3-2. The Saints have scored at least one goal in eight of their 10 contests and at least two in a game six times. They lead the league in scoring with 26 goals and 22 assists for a total of 74 points.
Maryville has six players in the top 10 in the conference in goals scored led by Lexi Gentry with four while Elsa Nilson-Hurtig, Ashlyne Hunt, Nika Vemdal, Lauren Dickhurt and Halle Ezell have three goals apiece. Tori Calvert leads the league with four assists. Gigi Yurevich has played every minute in goal this season and has made 26 saves with a goals against average of 0.788 and has five shutouts.
Series History – Friday's contest is the 44th meeting all-time between the Tritons and Miners with UMSL holding a 29-13-1 advantage but S&T has won the last four in the series including last season's 3-2 win in Rolla.
Sunday's contest marks the 14th meeting between the Tritons and Saints since 2011. UMSL leads the series 6-4-3 and went 1-0-1 against Maryville last season. The Tritons defeated the Saints 1-0 in a non-conference match last September and then in the conference match up Maryville rallied from a 2-0 deficit for a 2-2 draw. Three of the last four contests between the two sides have ended in a tie.
